Our Federated Nursery Schools will be closed on Monday, 19th September 2022 as a mark of respect to our late Queen Elizabeth II.
Dear Parent/Carer,
I am writing to inform you that following the announcement from the Government declaring Monday 19th September a Bank holiday, all schools and nurseries will be closed on that date as a mark of respect to our late Queen Elizabeth II.
This will allow staff and children an opportunity to follow events on television if they wish.
We are spending the period of national mourning following our usual curriculum but discussing events with the children at an appropriate level, helping them to process and understand what has happened.
Nursery will reopen as usual on Tuesday 20th September.
