Governor Vacancies

We welcome the involvement of members of our local community in the running and governance of our nursery schools. 

We currently have vacancies for 3 co-opted governors to join our governing board.  Please see below for a job description for governors of maintained nursery schools. The National Governors Association describes the role of co-opted governors as the following:-

• Co-opted governors and trustees are appointed by the board based on their skills, experience and perspective
• They often have specialised knowledge in areas like HR, finance, law, data and education
• Sometimes known as community governors
